Travelin’ Troy Talks Turkey Til Thursday.
Posted by: | CommentsDenouement – It wasn’t the result Travelin’ Troy was looking for as he ended up 22nd after qualifying 26th. But the coverage was great and it was nice to see this event live as the events unfolded.
If in theory, all goes to plan, the space below will magically show the race via the magic of USAC Live.
5:00 PM EST - Troy has been out practicing and was 15th out of 36 cars. He then put stickers on and moved up the timesheets, but then the rest of the field did too, and it looks like he’s sitting 15th quick at the mmoment.

Troy DeCaire will be driving for Benic Enterprises at Irwindale Speedway.
It’s that time of year where young men like Travelin’ Troy DeCaire head west in search of Turkey Night Grand Prix glory in USAC competition at Irwindale Speedway.
Like in years gone past, in theory Travelin’ Troy will be sending along updates of how he’s doing and when we get said updates, the website will be updated accordingly.
Go Troy Go!
Somewhat of an update – it looks like the race will be covered by 3 Wide Life and theoretically right here.
MSRXSS Bristol Motor Speedway Random Team Florida Updates…
Posted by: | Comments6:30 Saturday - Troy DeCaire comes home second, which should theoretically make him the 2011 MSRXSS champion, with Litt 7th and Helberg 4th. Fellow Floridian Shane Butler came home 12th.
Saturday - Not a good qualifying session for Team Florida as Shane Butler looks to be P20 and Troy DeCaire didn’t take time as the team was changing engines.
9:30 – Quick time today? In excess of 147 MPH…
4:00 – Fast cars in the afternoon practice, in order, appear to be Brian Gerster, Aaron Pierce, Troy DeCaire, Todd Fayard, Jo Jo Heldberg, Ryan Litt, Travis Minieia, Jason Cox, Jason Blonde.
We’ll try to keep this somewhat updated with information, but as of early Friday afternoon, here you go…

Florida's Travelin' Troy DeCaire is in the house at Bristol Motor Speedway to pilot the Davey Hamilton Racing entry and set quick time in the early practice sessions, with a few tenths in hand.

And here is Shane Butler's ride for this weekend's festivities. You might recall this as the car he won the King of the Wings with a few years back.

And here is the Davey Hamilton Racing entry, this weekend being piloted by Florida's very own Troy DeCaire.

This is what happens when a push truck gets it all wrong...
