CROWD GRADE: B-/C+ Most left after the sprint race. Hello promoters & track operators, SPRINT CARS bring fans!

NUMBER OF SPRINT CARS: 14 (8 running at the end of the feature)

WHO WON: David Slawiak

FSCF.COM DRIVER OF THE RACE: Keith Butler. He mounted a serious charge for the lead before getting on his lid and bringing out a red flag.

SERIES GRADE: C- (USAC style racing is neat, but it would be nice to have the best asphalt sprint car drivers in Florida run together.)

TRACK GRADE: B+, could have been an A if more drivers had tried to run the high side.

REST OF THE RACING GRADE: A. For New Smyrna car counts were OK and the races competitive.

OTHER NOTES: Somehow the asphalt sprint series in this state need to work together to help car counts. How do they do that, I don’t know. Loved seeing Scott Adema try running a Beast chassis. The USAC style racing is neat and would love for more cars to do it. Slawiak and Amanda Ferguson were heat race winners.
