More news to come somewhere around lunch time, but here is the much hyped Late Summer Podcast, presented by your favorite website staff and featured guest TBARA driver Ben Fritz.

For those of you that thought, “those previous guests, they weren’t very opinionated and were kind of safe…” well, try this one on for size. By the time you’re done listening you’ll probably get a fairly good indication of who won’t be sending Ben Fritz any presents during the holiday season this year.

Thanks again to Ben and Buff Fritz for inviting us up to their shop and for being unbelievably gracious hosts. Next time you see them in the pits, ask Buff where he scored the buffalo wings that evening. They were the best we’ve had in a very long time.

Drumroll please….the Late Summer Podcast featuring Ben Fritz!

And if you want to download it to save to your MP3 player of choice or burn to a CD to listen in the car on your way to the races, by all means do a right click here and do “save as.”

Our latest podcast is finally here!

And it’s a humdinger. And it’s almost two hours long. But our special guest is 2009 Top Gun Sprint Series champion Flyin’ Ryan Partin! And to say that Ryan can talk would be an understatement.

We cover all of the recent activities with the touring series wandering our state and also our adventure in Indiana for the Little 500 up in the quaint little town of Anderson.

So while you’re driving out to this weekend’s races, give it a listen!

Speaking of this weekend’s races, can “The Smooth Operator” Mickey Kempgens be stopped? First he wins the last CFWS race, then he wins the last TBARA race at Desoto. He’ll be behind the wheel of George Rudolph’s potent #68 once again.

The CFWS has some nice extra bonuses thrown in on top of their usual purse, so if you can make it up to Lake City we would highly encourage you to do so. Dakotah Stephens, Jim Alvis, Ray Bragg II, Channing Conley, Mike Jenkins, Nick Manikis, Brian Gingras and others are expected.

If dirt is your speed, the regular cast of rowdies (quite possibly including Gene Lasker) should get your wheels turning over at East Bay. We’ve seen lots of different winners this year and perhaps Sport Allen can repeat?

The FMARA is also in action at the newly named Punta Gorda Speedway.

For you Travelin’ Troy DeCaire fans – check this out. Video of his first ever laps on dirt in a USAC midget last weekend up in Indiana. Pretty cool.

Podcast is below the video!

It’s finally here, the Spring FloridaSprintCarFans.com podcast, which was recorded at the Butler Motorsports shop in Bushnell, Florida. Which can only mean one thing – special guests!

That’s right, TBARA points leader “The Bushnell Bullet” Shane Butler was our special guest and we got his take on the current state of sprint car racing, his upcoming plans for the Little 500 and also a free history lesson about Bushnell. What more could you possibly want from a podcast?

How about better audio? We admit, our sound quality wasn’t the best in the podcasts we did last year. But that’s all changed as we’ve upgraded our recording equipment greatly.

So give it a listen the next time you’ve got almost 60 minutes to kill. Why not listen to it as you’re driving to a sprint car race this weekend? In addition to the above topics, we’ll discuss SpeedWeeks and the current status of dirt and pavement sprint car racing here in Florida.

In other news, Shane Miller Motorsports decided to compete in the USCS Asphalt Thunder Series this past weekend up in Georgia and took home the winner’s purse with none other than Joey “The Ace” Aguilar. Tough Luck of the Race goes to Dude Teate who was in the Wilshe car and out front comfortably in the lead when he tangled with a lapped car.

Either way our Florida contingent put a whoopin’ on the field and we applaud that.

Please feel free to listen via the snappy player below or (right click here and do a “save as”) on your favorite MP3 player of choice or burn it to a CD for listening to in your car, or in the van you live in down by the river.

Happy listening!
