It’s finally here, the Spring FloridaSprintCarFans.com podcast, which was recorded at the Butler Motorsports shop in Bushnell, Florida. Which can only mean one thing – special guests!

That’s right, TBARA points leader “The Bushnell Bullet” Shane Butler was our special guest and we got his take on the current state of sprint car racing, his upcoming plans for the Little 500 and also a free history lesson about Bushnell. What more could you possibly want from a podcast?

How about better audio? We admit, our sound quality wasn’t the best in the podcasts we did last year. But that’s all changed as we’ve upgraded our recording equipment greatly.

So give it a listen the next time you’ve got almost 60 minutes to kill. Why not listen to it as you’re driving to a sprint car race this weekend? In addition to the above topics, we’ll discuss SpeedWeeks and the current status of dirt and pavement sprint car racing here in Florida.

In other news, Shane Miller Motorsports decided to compete in the USCS Asphalt Thunder Series this past weekend up in Georgia and took home the winner’s purse with none other than Joey “The Ace” Aguilar. Tough Luck of the Race goes to Dude Teate who was in the Wilshe car and out front comfortably in the lead when he tangled with a lapped car.

Either way our Florida contingent put a whoopin’ on the field and we applaud that.

Happy listening!

The moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here – our latest, and quite possibly greatest, podcast!

That’s right, we went back into the studios again to do our first ever end-of-the-year (EOTY if you are big on acronyms – LOL BBQ WTF!) awards podcast. And this time it was met with great success.

Some winners stayed the same from the first podcast no one heard and some new winners emerged, largely due to our inability to come to a consensus and thus settling our disagreement via a throw of the dice. Highly scientific, we agree.

And lucky you – this is also the longest podcast we’ve done yet, thus going in the complete opposite direction of being more brief and to the point. But for each award we had three different opinions (most of the time) and so it went. And to be frank, some of us may have been drinking Bell’s Hop Slam Ale during the actual podcast recording, which really makes some of us talk and talk and talk…

So if you’ve got a big drive ahead of you to come out and race go karts with us in Maitland Friday night as we mop the floor with the Real Racin USA crew at the Lil’ 500 track, why not listen to our manic ramblings and find out who won the actual awards?

Please feel free to listen via the snappy player below or (right click here and do a “save as”) on your favorite MP3 player of choice or burn it to a CD for listening to in your car, or in the van you live in down by the river.

Happy listening!

The Autumnal Podcast is Here!

Posted by: FSCF Webmaster | Comments (0)

PodcastLogoYes, after three long months we have returned with this, the official FloridaSprintCarFans.com Autumnal Podcast. Depending on your perspective, this is a good or bad thing. But rest assured we invested (?) in some more free audio editing tools to try and clean up our act. At the very least, this podcast has much better audio quality than our previous podcasts. That’s a good thing.

In this edition of the podcast, we cover the following:

* The big news in Florida for sprint car racing.

* The latest miracle performed by His Holiness Dave Steele.

* Who has been the hot shoe on dirt this summer?

* Who has been the hot shoe on pavement this year?

* TBARA – what’s up for next year? Who will lead?

* Mini Sprints roundup with our Editor at Speed.

* Miscellaneous ramblings.

Please feel free to listen via the snappy player below or simply click here (right click and do a “save as”) to your favorite MP3 player of choice or burn to a CD for listening to your car or what have you.

There you have it.
