In dirt sprint car news, Danny “The Hammer” Martin Jr. and the Shaw Racing team that ran roughshod over the state the last time they were together, have reunited once again. When contacted, Martin Jr. wished to thank Brian Maddox and the #82 team for the opportunity to drive for them and all of the support they gave him while they were together. Martin Jr. revealed that he and Shaw are putting together a schedule for next year that involves more travel and will hopefully put the Shaw chassis in more victory lanes outside of Florida. It’s once again that time of year where Florida drivers assemble to take their best shot at the one wingless pavement sprint car race every driver wants to win – the Little 500 at Anderson Speedway. This year Team Florida consists of Troy DeCaire, Brian Gingras, Garrett Green, Dude Teate and Jason Bradford. DeCaire was originally scheduled to drive for the same team as last year (the Puglio entry) but that fell apart and he is now entered with his Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series team. Gingras and Green are both part of the Team Green entry. Teate is in the sprint car he peddled during the Must See Pandhandle Tour earlier...
