If you’re like us, you probably have a passing interest in modifieds, because they do have some lack of fenders and a lot of cool drivers have wheeled them in years gone past. So if you’ve got nothing to do this Friday, you want to stroll on over to New Smyrna Speedway.

The fun gets under way at Noon and runs until 5:00 PM. There is FREE Admission to all Drivers, Owners, Officials and Fans of Northeastern Modified Racing, so just stroll up and say, “hey, I’m a big Buzzie Reutimann fan, now let me in!” Or if you’re cool like our webmaster, you can wear your “The Doctor” Danny Johnson t-shirt…

If you prefer to stay on the other coast and kick it in the Reutimann’s back yard, you want the 38th Annual Winter AutoFest.

The Zephyrhills Winter AutoFest is a big multi-faceted automotive event featuring all four days an impressive swap meet and car corral. Also all four days, there’s exciting exhibition racing on the 1/3 mile unbanked dirt track with stock cars, sprint cars & midgets from the ’30′s, ’40′s, ’50′s & ’60′s. On Friday & Saturday, there’s a highly-regarded collector car auction.
