Danny Lasoski, Jim Young do it again.

Over at Volusia Speedway Park, Danny “The Dude” Lasoski continued to show his fast form we’ve seen all week, picking up another win to kick off the World of Outlaws season. Jason Meyers, was second, followed by Brad Sweet, Donny Schatz and Sammy Swindell. Don’t forget that Friday’s makeup race is today at 12:30.
Up at Bubba Raceway Park, Jim Young too continued his fine form picking up another FMSA win this week, putting half-a-lap on second place runner Chris Pacetti.
Don’t forget that the TBARA gets their race season underway at New Smyrna Speedway today. This will mark the debut of Troy DeCaire in the Lenny Puglio #91 formerly piloted by Dave Steele, who will not be in action. Also not in action is last year’s title protagonist “The Bushnell Bullet” Shane Butler, but he will be assisting his father Stan this weekend. Defending champ Johnny Gilbertson will be in the house with teammate Rex “Boneman” Hollinger. Haulin’ Collin Cabre will be driving for Terry DeCaire and we should also be seeing the return of Brian Gingras and Ben Fritz to competition. Also look for some out-of-state entries.
I stand corrected, it appears as though Dave Steele and Shane Butler will be driving tonight.
For those of you who don’t give a crap about the dirt stuff. Last nights top three at New Symrna were 68 Mickey Kempkins, 91 Troy DeCaire, 7 John Gilbert. Tbara had 23 show up, and after the practices and heats, 19 cars took the green for the feature. The race took under 8 minutes with no cautions. Congratulations to George Rudolph and Mickey on a great race. Also congrats to the other top finishers. A source tells me the crowd was on there feet the whole race and loved every lap.

Sorry, I don’t have the rest of the finishing order, as I was unable to go this year due to work and being sick. My dad could only figure out how to text so much.
Thanks Scotty for the TBARA report!
Tonight tbara top three are 91Troy DeCaire, 68 Mickey Kempkens, and 40 Tim Cox. Congrats to Troy and Mickey on an awesome start to the 2012 season. Also, thanks to the guys like Tim who traveled all the way down here to come race with the club. Hopefully the dirt stuff will get over soon and we can get some pics up here of the cars at nss. Just kidding’ , those dune buggies are pretty cool too.
Come on now Scotty, I posted all of those pretty TBARA cars with Monday’s post.
