No Florida sprint car races this weekend, yet again.
ByBut hey, since you’re here, we’ll drop some 411 on you anyway.
Do you really, really just have to see a sprint car this weekend? Well, you can go see our very own Factory Driver Flyin’ Ryan Partin Saturday night over at Volusia Speedway Park. Ryan will be there with his snappy looking sprint car to help promote the upcoming Top Gun Sprint Series race on July 17. And Ryan’s lovely girlfriend Viktorija will be there with some t-shirts for sale for a paltry ten bucks!
And our boy was also profiled recently on the K&N website – check it out.
So bring the kids out to meet our driver and get a picture snapped like this gem below. Note the stylish Flyin’ Ryan Partin t-shirt as well.
Speaking of July 17, one of our favorite sprint car drivers will be racing something with fenders on it. That’s right, teenage sensation Amanda Ferguson has been using this sprint car downtime to take in some laps testing…late models. And she’s put together a ride for the July 17 late model race over at New Smyrna Speedway.
And for you Bryn Gohn fans curious what he’s been up to, they were sidelined for a spell, but they’re heading back out to the Pennsylvania Posse wars this weekend.
And if you really want to take in some non-sprint car racing action this weekend, our recommendation would be to head up to Citrus County for the big Larry Mac Memorial which should bring out many modifieds.
And now the moment you’ve been waiting for…your Friday videos…
Vintage TBARA back when Ocala was paved and Ben Fritz had not yet developed his own signature line of flashlights. And damn, look at all those cars!
The one and only Jack Hewitt at my former home track of Nazareth…
